I've been thinking about prom since I dug out those prom photos a couple of days ago!  While I have great memories of my date, my friends and the parties we attended afterwards, my favorite thing about prom was MY DRESS!  My mom made it out of fuscia pink taffeta (as I recall, she was hemming it about an hour before my date arrived) and I chose the dress pattern specifically because it was a (very simplified!) copy of Princess Di's wedding dress.  Sigh!  I still have the dress and I'm sure I can still wear it...as long as I don't zip it up!
